PhD Studentship Advanced Engine and Aftertreatment Technologies School of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Manufacturing and Civil Engineering.

A PhD studentship will be available for research on advanced engine and aftertreatment technologies involving experimental studies for the next generation of automotive engines. The project will be technically supported by Jaguar/Ford and several other industrial partners, and active interactions with these partners will be expected. The successful candidate will have a good first (or second) degree with a strong background in Chemistry and Thermodynamics and excellent communication/interpersonal skills. A high commitment and initiatives are necessary.

The studentship covering the home student tuition fees and bursary for three years with possibility of some top-up supplement will be available as soon as possible after the procedures of selection of candidates.
